This past Friday, as 15,000 people crammed into Bridgestone Arena for the first sold-out night of Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour, about 150 people were treated to a high-energy set of synthpop from the Brooklyn-based band Twin Shadow. While Twin Shadow is the stage name of lead vocalist/guitarist George Lewis, Jr., he brought a three-piece backing band to help him flesh out the songs from his three recorded albums, with a set list leaning heavily on songs from this year’s full-length Eclipse.
