Shanning Newell is a starry-eyed, sunshine-loving wanderer hailing from South Mississippi. She has yet to meet a stranger, and probably never will. She puts her outgoing personality to use as social media guru and photojournalist for Lockeland and also contributes as a writer. Shanning believes in balance and good vibes, which also applies to her taste in music. When she’s not trying out a new blend of red wine and listening to an old vinyl, you can probably find her spinning a hula hoop, getting creative in the kitchen or wandering around Nashville on the hunt for good music.
