Before the town drifted off for the holidays, we headed to the 5 Spot for our fundraiser party – with Cory Branan, Alanna Royale, Elenowen, Boom Forest and Blackfoot Gypsies. It was a blast, and we raised over $2,500 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. As far as Christmas and Chanukah gifts go, that was one for the books.
Nick Pichnic was there with us capturing the whole thing on video – the Blackfoot Gypsies, here, and now, Cory Branan, who stunned us with his lyrical songs laced together with unexpected melodies and phrasings, up there just him, his voice and his guitar.
