News /// Jack White’s new video, the Black Keys’ new EP, Diamond Rugs’ show new location, Samantha Harlow’s new records and other new news

Jack White will release a video, directed by Dori Oskowitz, for his Little Willie John cover tune “I’m Shakin'” tomorrow at 11 a.m CT. Third Man released this rad Jack-on-Jack art to go along with it (right there <– ), wherein one might suspect a battle of the bands of sorts between his female band The Peacocks and boys the Buzzards. He’ll play tomorrow in Tennessee as well, at Jackson’s Carl Perkins Civic Center.

– The Black Keys have released a new digital EP called Tour Rehearsal Tapes, exclusively on iTunes and featuring six songs recorded live at Easy Eye Studios in December 2011. FYI,  El Camino, is officially certified RIAA Platinum in the US.

– The Diamond Rugs gig at Zombie Shop on 10.29 that we previously blogged about has now been moved to Marathon Music Works.

Natural Child will play new venue the Stone Fox tonight.

– Local twangy singer-songwriter Samantha Harlow‘s new LP, Love Letters, is now available on iTunes. She’ll celebrate the record’s release on Thursday at the 5 Spot with Andrew Leahey & the Homestead, among others.

Jackalope and Native magazine’s second Doctober will take place on Friday with Daniel Ellsworth and the Great Lakes.

– Tickets go on sale tomorrow for Miles & Music for Kids ride and concert on 10.14, with Sheryl Crow and Dierks Bently.

Nashville premieres tomorrow, and here’s what the NY Times says about it.  Here’s what we propose: a drinking game. Let us know some good ideas for rules (i.e. when Connie Britton uses unnecessary southern slang – drink!). Please tweet or comment us some rules and we’ll post them tomorrow.
