– Regina Spektor will be playing the Ryman on 10.11. Tickets on sale Friday, 8.10 at 10:00 a.m.
– Shimmery art-pop outfit Gardens & Villa are hitting the High Watt on 10.10. Listen to Gardens & Villa Cover “Gypsy.”
– The Whigs will gig at Mercy Lounge 9.6, in support of their new record, Enjoy The Company, out 9.18 on New West Records. Check out their tune full-force rock and roller tune “Summer Heat” here.
– Ten Out of Tenn w/Trent Dabbs, Gabe Dixon, Amy Stroup and Tyler Jam hits 3rd & Lindsley on 9.14.
– Tonight is the August issue launch party for new Nashville culture magazine, Native. Playing? Uncle Skeleton (their last show in Nashville), Linear Downfall, All Them Witches, The Allen Thompson Band and The Sam Hunter Band. Free booze, at Moonbase (Marathon Village, 1310 Clinton Street). The debut issue featured Tristen as a cover star, so expect more good things.
