– Rolling Stone has a track from Deer Tick front man John McCauley’s new indie-supergroup of sorts, Diamond Rugs (comprising Robbie Crowell also of Deer Tick, Ian Saint Pé of the Black Lips, Hardy Morris of Dead Confederate, Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and Bryan Dufresne of Six Finger Satellite). Download “Country Mile” here. The band’s debut LP, out April 24, actually came to life in Nashville, where McCauley now lives (in East Nashville, to be exact).
