* No Country for New Nashville Two-Year Anniversary Party at the Basement ::: Tonight, our friends over at No Country For New Nashville celebrate their two-year anniversary at The Basement. The show includes a well-curated set list of some of our favorite local artists, including Daniel Ellsworth, Jared Corder (repeat repeat), Milktooth, and more. Rather than indulge us in the staples that we already know and love, No Country has asked the artists to interpret and create their own arrangements from Beck‘s infamous song reader. Here at Lockeland Springsteen, we love artist interpretation, so we’re pretty stoked to see what transpires with these notorious compositions. El El and Colorfeels will be playing full sets on either side of the Beck-stretch to round out the night. Happy Birthday, No Country!
* Those Darlins at East Side Hootenanny ::: It’s a gorgeous day, the Darlins are back in town, and playing outside amongst our fellow East Nashvillians and food trucks. What could be better? Also joining the party will be The Vespers, Magnolia Sons, Stagolee, The Gills and Copper & The Jam. At East Park in East Nashville, from 4-10 p.m.
* Marc Scibilia and Alanna Royale at Musicians Corner ::: Another opportunity to catch two local favorites on a beautiful outdoor stage. More information over here.
