A Nashville music blog. It's the boss, y'all.

News /// Grassy Knoll Goes High Fidelity, Turbo Fruits for Free, Jack White + Hype Williams, Brian Setzer, Muddy Roots, more

- On 7.22, Grassy Knoll Movie Nights in East Nashville will be showing the record store nerd’s manifesto film High Fidelity.  I will now sell five copies of “The Three EPs” by The Beta Band. (Gosh, I miss Beta Band, P.S.)

- Download the Turbo Fruits‘ “Love Tennessee” for free her, courtesy of AOL Spinner.

- Jack White + Hype Williams = yes! Mr. White has long honored the musical video tradition of pairing with acclaimed directors, and for “Freedom at 21″ he’s snagged Williams. Check out a trailer for the not-yet-released video after the jump.

- Brian Setzer is coming to the Ryman on 12.9.

- American Way is on the iheartNashville bandwagon. So is Food Republic.

- The Nashville Scene‘s Steve Haruch has a killer cover story on Infinity Cat, on stands today (and online). P.S., Tristen was just added to the Infinity Cat anniversary party at Exit/In on 7.20.

- Muddy Roots is throwing a warehouse party tomorrow.
